Another brusho attempt of sunflowers blowing in the wind. Inked the drawing first and wet the leaf areas for the green. Kind of painted this in. Sprinkled and sprayed the yellows and reds to create the feeling of movement for the petals. Really happy with the way this one came out!
Gonna keep trying and improving with this exciting medium. I don’t think of this as fine art but it is certainly a fun way to spend some time getting loose and letting the paint do the work instead of controlling every detail. I’m hoping the looseness of this will help me when I go back to my favorite medium, watercolor, we’ll see huh?
