Just messing around today and did these Florida landscapes as little paintings! The one on the right I started yesterday and did a few final touches to it today and the other I created because I picked up some new paints today and wanted to try them out.
My local craft store was having a 40% off sale on Winsor & Newton Cotman tube paints, how can you not try some new colors? Here is an insert of the colors I bought. Okay I already had the Cerulean Blue Hue….but it looked different in the store, I’m sure I will use it.
Purple a good fit since I’m always having trouble trying to mix a good one for wisteria and hydranga, a couple of my favorite flowers to paint. Permanent Rose for mixing pinks and Sap green , can never have too many shades of green if landscapes and florals are part of your interest.
Hopefully tomorrow I will spend a bit more time painting with the new colors.
Until next time…..may your skies be colorful and paint worthy.
