Balconies of Cartagena Colombia

These little ACEO’s were painted from vacation photos taken when we visited the Old Town of Cartegena Colombia a few years ago. The balconies and narrow streets are so charming in the historic area that is walled in and filled with colonial architecture. A great area to stroll through and enjoy the feeling of days past.

I like the feeling they each convey and do believe I did a fairly good job with them.

I did get to paint a bit today, never as much as I would like, but doing something each day is my goal. I  look back at what I have created over the last year and I am amazed. I’m never going to be a masterpiece maker but I am making art on a regular basis which is what this blog was started for originally. I will be celebrating one year next month of keeping up with this “challenge” so to speak and not only have I done that but I have grown and become more comfortable doing what I love to do. I even think I’ve learned and gotten better at my craft.

Until next time……do what you love and the rest will fall into place
